History

Brandon was started 50 years ago by Louis Rainville and his son , P.E., the grandfather and father of current president Daniel Rainville and his brother Luc, secretary-treasurer. When Daniel and Luc took over the company in 1988, they decided to find a way to build a new product during the winter welding slowdown, the dump body.

Luc used to work for a truck equipment dealer, and Daniel used to build dump bodies for a manufacturer. They decided that with that combination of experiences in installation and in dump body manufacturing, they would put their knowledge together and manufacture them.

In 1998, they felt the need for an additional resource to get the heart and the arms to work together. Guy Comtois was the perfect fit for them, a native of St-Gabriel-de-Brandon. Guy has good knowledge in several administrative fields (Sales, Finance, Human Resources, etc). His goal will be to bring Brandon at the top of the ladder in the dump body industry with a good quality product at a very competitive price and great customer support for the dealers. Following in Guy's footsteps is his son Pascal. Graduate in Business management, he is now sales and marketing manager for the company.
